The UFFW family was saddened to hear of the recent passing of Art “Artifact” Mitchelson at the age of 85.

Art was a fixture at the Firefighter Historical Society and was always a smiling face on hand to assist us whenever and wherever we asked. Art was a true gentlemen and tireless goodwill ambassador for every firefighter past and present. He will be sorely missed.

We send our condolences to Art’s extend museum family with whom he shared so many years.

Rest easy old friend.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday November 26th @11:00, appropriately at the museum.
