Re:                  Chief John Lane

On behalf of the Executive of Local 867 I would like to congratulate John Lane, former Chief of Prince George, in being the successful candidate to become our new Chief.

We know that his experience as a Fire Chief and his knowledge of EMS issues will be a great asset and we look forward to working with him to make our Department even better and stronger.

Chief Lane came to us via the Toronto Fire Department and the Prince George Fire Department.

Again, congratulations to John Lane on becoming Fire and Paramedic Chief of the City of Winnipeg
