Attention Canadian Affiliates:

The Mental Health Commission of Canada is launching a new webinar series on mental health for first responders. This upcoming free webinar on July 26, 2016 focuses on suicide prevention for first responders.

The IAFF Canadian Office is working with the Mental Health Commission of Canada to create a mental health roadmap for fire fighters. This roadmap links in with our ongoing work with the federal government to create a National Action Plan for PTSD for first responders. The Mental Health Commission of Canada’s webinar series contributes to our efforts to raise awareness and educate members to foster healing, resilience and suicide prevention.

The invitation below includes further webinar details.

Please share with your local members, as we encourage all members to participate.

Thank you,

Scott Marks
