Paramedics Services Week

UFFW is proud to partner with the department this year in support of Paramedic Services Week – a week designed to showcase the great work & services we provide to our citizens each day in the community.
Please take a moment to note all of the various events planned for this year, and consider volunteering for any of them, as we will need your helpĀ to ensure a successful event.
Monday May 25th – Kickoff at Weston School
09:00-11:30 – Volunteers needed to help give tours of apparatus on scene to the school kids.
Tuesday May 26th – Siloam Mission
Volunteers needed to volunteer at the mission to prepare food & assist with services
Wednesday May 27 – Kids Day at the zoo
10:00-14:00 – Volunteers needed to staff various stations within the zoo (fire, safety trailer, dispatch, ambulance, etc) Lunch to be provided to volunteers.
Thursday May 28 – Celebration of Life Awards
Masonic TempleĀ 11:00-13:00 All crews involved in the featured calls have been contacted.
All are welcome to attend.
Friday May 29 – William Whyte Cleanup Day
15:00-19:00 – Volunteers are needed to represent the department and help with a community clean up. Supper will be provided to volunteers.
Sunday May 31 – Teddy Bear’s Picnic
08:00-17:00 – Volunteers are GREATLY needed to staff the department’s tent at the picnic.
Please consider volunteering for any of the above events this year. They go a long way to promote the great work we all do every day out in the community.
