Eugene Nuytten passed away

Eugene joined the department, July 4, 1949
He became Lieutenant, January 7, 1974
June 4, 1978 he became Captain
He was promoted to District Chief, August 18, 1985
and Assistant Deputy Chief, July 6, 1986

Eugene retired, June 5, 1988, after 38 years and 11 months
service with the department.

Funeral Services, will be held on
Monday, June 3, 2019 at
2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens at
455 Lagimodiere Blvd.

Flags at all Winnipeg Fire Stations will be flown at
half mast, on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, the 1st,
2nd and 3rd of June, in Eugene’s honor.
