Yesterday, September 19th, the Winnipeg Free Press featured poll asked, “Should the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service implement a plan to cut overtime costs?”

The results of this poll are now in and 65 percent of respondents said that they didn’t want any cuts made in fire department unless it could be done without affecting safety. 45 percent said just hire more firefighters.
