On september 16, the International Association of Firefighters and Colorado Springs Local 5 hosted the Fallen Firefighter Memorial.

This year, Jack Nicol was honoured among the 190 firefighters who perished on the job or occupational diseases by having his name inscribed on the memorial. We were happy to be able to assist Jack’s family while at the memorial.

Other important members of the UFFW family who made the trip to the memorial this year were Ron Lee and members of the Ed Kelsch family. We were honoured to be with them.

We also thank Chief John Lane and Mayor Brian Bowman who were able to join us this weekend and experience this moving tribute to our fallen and their families.
