Alex Forrest On the heels of the great Alberta Fire Fighters Association announcement of presumptive cancer legislation expansion, I have had the honour of being asked to speak at this IAFF Firefighter Cancer Summit.

I will be speaking about the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and Presumptive Cancer Legislation.

Manitoba was the first Province in Canada to have the Provincial WCB recognize the link between occupational cancer and firefighting.

This Legislation then spread across Canada & Australia and is currently being considered in Europe.

This is something every UFFW member should be proud of.
