With the first sighting of snow falling outside this morning, we are reminded of the serious need for warm coats for kids this winter season.

Koats for Kids has been a Winnipeg institution since 1989, and every year from October to February the program collects and distributes much needed winter outerwear to families in Winnipeg.

For some children, having a warm coat means the difference between attending school on a cold day or staying home.

We are once again parterning with the United Way to help collect warm outerwear at all 27 Winnipeg Fire Halls.
