Fire Fighters Supporting Muscular Dystrophy
It’s almost time for the 6th Annual Fire Fighter Rooftop Campout for Muscular Dystrophy.
Four brave Winnipeg Fire Fighters will be hoisted onto the roof of #4 Fire Station in Osborne Village on Tuesday March 17th at 10am and they will be camping there in the cold until Friday March 20th.
The official launch will take place on Tuesday March 17th at 10 am and all media are invited to attend.
Throughout the week, while the four Firefighters are camped out on the roof, others will be out in front of the fire station, on the street collecting funds during “road tolls” and our goal this year is to surpass last year’s fundraising total, which was fifty thousand dollars.
Winnipeg firefighters have been supporting Muscular Dystrophy families since 1954.
