Jets Flags To Fly On Trucks For Playoffs

A media kick-off was held at the museum on Monday to announce UFFW had acquired flags to fly on every engine, rescue and ladder in the city throughout the Jets’ playoff run.
Mickey Moose was on hand along with several crew members for the media photo op.
Thanks to Art & Mike Lisowick for opening the museum and running the pump for us.

We were proud to present a check representing the proceeds from this year’s UFFW Charity Banquet & Bal to the Never Alone Foundation during their recent Poker For A Purpose tournament.

Firefighters are a special group with a brother and sisterhood stretching across the globe.
Today President Alex Forrest is speaking at the World Firefighter Cancer Summit in Iceland.
We stand on the shoulders of those that have come before us, and as such we are honoured to assist and advance our European family in their current campaigns for coverage.
Firefighters in Winnipeg and Manitoba can be proud that we are among the leaders in the world championing WCB compensation for Firefighters diagnosed with occupational cancers.
