Dave Naaykens Retirement Watch Presentation

February 8, 2019

No heat, no gas, no problem!

Despite having to change the venue within a few hours due to a massive gas leak downtown, we had a full house to celebrate retiring brother Dave Naaykens. Special guests included brothers from Thompson, Brandon, Pinawa, Kingston, Red Deer, Calgary & Vancouver.

Dave is retiring from the Winnipeg Fire Department having achieved the rank of District Chief and having served for nearly 38 years.

Dave has also served as UFFW Vice-President for nearly two decades, as MPFFA president and has played instrumental roles in countless health & safety and worker’s issues during his time.

We wish Brother Naaykens a richly deserved healthy & lengthy retirement.
