Wpg Theatre Fire Plaque unveiling

We were proud to attend this afternoon’s plaque unveiling recognizing our four brothers lost and the twelve others who never returned to duty following the 1926 Winnipeg Theatre Fire.

This plaque is located on the site of the original fire on Notre Dame & Adelaide. Sincere thank you to Manitoba Hydro for leading this beautiful tribute.

We also recognize and appreciate today’s participation by Mayor Brian Bowman, Minister Ron Schuler and Chief John Lane.

Thank you also to UFFW executive Robert Campbell for his efforts on this project.

Winnipeg Theater Fire Plaque unveiling

Please join us at the new MB Hydro Adelaide st substation on Tuesday July 18 at noon when we will be unveiling a plaque dedicated to our brothers who perished & were injured in the 1926 Winnipeg Theater fire.

Thank you to Manitoba Hydro for recognizing our brothers in such a respectful & dignified fashion on their facility.

Manitoba Moose Check Presentation

The ‪Manitoba Moose visited us at the hall this morning to present over 8K in proceeds from their Firefighter jersey auction earier this year.
These funds will go to the Manitoba Fallen Firefighter Foundation.
It was a pleasure to work with them on this project.
