With above-average temperatures and the Grey Cup festival sharing the marquis this year, the 2015 Santa Claus Parade was an unqualified success.

We would like to thank the more than 70(!) volunteers who made time to join our floats and walk down Portage Av with us this year.

We had a great mix of young and old, active and retired firefighters, dispatchers, students and rookies toss out candy to the crowd.

We would like to thank Bob Wright and his team of 5 Platoon members for an outstanding decoration job on L1, which featured popular Mineons characters. The Historical Society also did a great job on their Mac Pump, decorated to the 9’s.

Events like these go a long way in showing the public our involvement with community activities, and we could not achieve our successes without your support & participation.
