On behalf of the 1550 members of the United Fire Fighters of Winnipeg, Local
867, I.A.F.F. it is with deep sorrow that we pass along to you and the
families of the fallen, our thoughts and prayers for your two Brothers who
died while responding to a nine-alarm brownstone fire in the Back Bay
section of Boston.

We are moved by the amazing support shown by the Boston Fire Department and
the thirteen fire fighters who were caught in a backdraft situation and
injured and as they attempted to rescue Brothers Walsh and Kennedy. We wish
them the best with their recoveries.
