A firefighter was taken to hospital after crews responded to a house fire in the 400 block of Magnus Avenue early Friday morning.
The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was called to the scene at 2:47 a.m. on May 9. When they arrived, firefighters entered the home to battle the blaze from inside. The fire was brought under control by 3:09 a.m.
Everyone inside the home got out safely before crews arrived. One firefighter was injured during the response and was transported to hospital in stable condition.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No damage estimates have been released.
