UFFW’s mission is to support and advocate for the men and women fire fighters of the Winnipeg Fire Department. We are active in every political and managerial arena to ensure our members’ safety, health and well-being are at the forefront when decisions are made that affect us in the workplace. From tactics, equipment, training, staffing and legislation at all levels, we are involved to ensure our voices and priorities are heard. Our long and proud tradition of serving the citizens of Winnipeg began in 1882, and we certainly stand on the shoulders of those who have come before us.
