In my final official act as a WPFG board member, I was honoured to attend our legacy fund distribution announcement earlier today. Sharing the remaining funds from the games with such noble charities and organizations (WASAC, MASRC & Kid sport) is what it is all about. As we look ahead to our UFFW members attending the upcoming 2025 police and fire games in Birmingham, Alabama, (registration is now open), we are reminded that it is not only about sport and fellowship, but also contributing significantly to the Cities & communities that open their arms to these games.
